In the century since the world's first scheduled air service took to the skies on August 25, 1919, we have grown to become one of the world's leading airlines. This year the sees the launch of our hotly anticipated Airbus A350, offering a next generation in-flight experience. With more room, ambient lighting and a cabin pressure equivalent to an altitude of just 6,000 feet, this state-of-the-art aircraft promises the most restful journey imaginable. Its 25% lower fuel burn will significantly reduce CO2 emissions too. What’s more, we’re rolling out a superior flying experience across all our cabins with enhanced design and furnishings, more exceptional dining and even greater levels of comfort and service - just part of our £6.7 billion investment in the future of our customers.
